Five years, George. Five ugly, deadly, bloody years. This is quite an anniversary. If you wait a day or two, you’ll be able to celebrate the 4,000th US military death as well.

Break out the champagne.

It’s been a fairly quiet five years, George. No photos of the dead or dying. No flag-draped coffins, no talk of the legless, blinded or horribly burned. Not a murmur about hundreds of thousands of dead and terribly injured Iraqis. No concern about the millions who had to flee the country of their fathers… no fanfare about daisy cutters or depleted uranium. Celebrate….we’re making progress.

Great news management, George, -you’d hardly know such carnage was involved. . Good for you.

You’ve waged such a clean, carefree war, George, if just a tad costly. That $12 billion a month you’re spending on this foray really is hardly worth a mention, considering what you’ve done to the dollar.But, a cash cow is a cash cow. Let’s drink to that.

And let’s hear it for the never-ending, euphoric ‘progress,’ in your lovely war, George. Let’s not quibble about the lack of water and electricity for the Iraqis, or the devastating shortages of doctors and medical supplies. And, luckily, a blown up bus or marketplace here or there is hardly newsworthy. Not a word in the establishment media about the daily killings or kidnappings you’ve set in motion all these years.

Hey, the networks deserve a hand here. Almost three quarters of Americans believe that you’ve caused the deaths of only three thousand American troops. Hard to believe, but they’ve inadvertently written off the lives of a thousand young soldiers and marines. Hell, ignorance is bliss. Party on.

And best of all, your coalition of intimidated allies has all but disappeared. Your illegal, immoral and ugly war is largely a private affair now, George. Enjoy.

We’d love to see the guest list, George. Surely an anniversary bash of this order has to include those who made it all happen: Do send photos of Dick and Condy and Colin and Donald – and not to forget Wolfy the neocons. . We’ve heard so little from them lately.

Yep, this is a big one George. Five years of death and destruction, and still going strong. And here’s so much more to do. Have a ball, George, - it’s your last hurrah and your legacy is nearly assured. Not quite, but almost. You have only months to go before you sleep, George…..and you still have time to go out with a bang.

There is still an outside chance that your painful failures in Afghanistan and Iraq may be forgiven and even forgotten. You have the old crew on hand for this festive occasion, so take a moment to plan another one, George. Just think ahead…..and use what’s left of your military might to liberate the people of Iran.

It’s what you’ve wanted all this time….so go for it, George. The American people are becoming far too complacent, and too many are losing their sense of imminent fear, forgetting that terrorists are waiting at the borders to attack and eat our children.

Are you celebrating, George? It’s been five long years since Shock and Awe. So, where have all the flowers gone?

Someone once told me if you’re going to tell a lie make it a whopper based on the premise the more outrageous the lie the more likely it is to be believed. At the time, I wrote off his advice as hogwash but as we see from the Iraq debacle, he was right. Five years later, the deceit continues undiminished and nobody has been held to account.

Britain’s Gordon Brown yesterday promised to hold an enquiry into the “mistakes” made in Iraq. Sounds good, but don’t hold your breath. All previous inquiries have been labeled “whitewashes”. They can’t afford the truth to come out else they might get a one-way ticket to The Hague.

Ambassador David Satterfield, and adviser to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, is doing the rounds of talk shows lauding America’s victories over Al-Qaeda in Iraq.

On one occasion the host interjected to mention the unpalatable fact that Al-Qaeda members only flocked to Iraq once the Americans were in place leaving Satterfield momentarily nonplussed.

It’s obvious that Satterfield is so saturated in the party line he forgot the Pentagon’s recently published study that found with certainty that Saddam Hussein had absolutely no links to Al-Qaeda.

And lest we forget Saddam didn’t have WMD either, which means not only was the war immoral the prewar sanctions on that country that contributed to the deaths of over half-a-million Iraqi children were too.

Think about it for a moment. The warmongers invaded, crushed and occupied a country that was no threat to anyone. They stood by as it was looted, exacerbated sectarianism, flattened entire towns, tortured untold numbers of innocents, brought in gum-chewing, tattooed foreign mercenaries and paid crony companies billions of dollars for mythical reconstruction projects.

They then pretended to hand over sovereignty to that country while at the same time constructing permanent bases and the biggest US Embassy in history resembling a small town. They said they had no interest in Iraq’s oil, yet they are putting immense pressure on the Iraqi government (sic) to sign into law a bill that permits foreign (read American) oil companies to lock up decades-long deals. Let’s be frank. Iraq wasn’t a blunder, it was a crime. So how did they manage to get away with implanting their long-conceived plot to do away with Israel’s No. 1 foe, ensure their competitors couldn’t get their hands on Iraq’s resources and entrench their military might in the region? Future historians will no doubt be scratching their heads over this one. You had to live through it to believe it.

First, they cleverly used the politics of fear to sway public opinion. As noted in the Project for the New American Century’s document “Rebuilding America’s Defenses”, the warmonger signatories - who later became senior members of the Bush administration - needed “a new Pearl Harbor”. On Sept. 1l 2001 they got it. Americans and their allies were in shock. Almost every country in the world was sympathetic and willing to do anything to help. And, boy, did they capitalize on that empathy even managing to persuade Russia to stay silent as they made deals with Caspian states to allow US bases.

Step one was a country where a giant bogeyman was supposed to be hiding out in a cave presumably equipped with a dialysis machine and a production studio and whose black-turbaned government forced women to wear a burqa and disallowed nail polish. But then Defense Minister Donald Rumsfeld was disappointed because there weren’t enough targets for his bombs. It was no fun bombing a country into the Stone Age when it was already there.

Step two was the insidious demonizing of Muslims, thousands of whom were arrested and held for months without charge or access to lawyers. In that climate of fear, it was relatively simple to persuade the American people that Saddam Hussein was conniving with the people who brought down the World Trade Center. US officials warned of mushroom clouds; Prime Minister Tony Blair said British interests could be attacked within 45 minutes of Saddam giving the order. Then Secretary of State Colin Powell allowed himself to be used as their fall guy. He spouted the most unbelievable scripted codswallop the UN had ever heard…yet, bullied and bribed nation after nation pretended
to believe him as IAEA chief Mohammed El-Baradei and UN weapons inspector Hans Blix did little to discredit the hoax.

Step three entailed replacing Osama in people’s minds with Saddam, who overnight morphed into a hydra-headed monster whose idea of a pleasant weekend was gassing and torturing his own people.

Step four was ‘Shock and Awe’ which illuminated the Baghdad skyline on March 19, 2003. As their bombs and missiles rained down on crowded market places scattering limbs, they told us those bombs and missiles were Saddam’s even though the Independent’s Middle East correspondent inconveniently dug up their Made in the USA shards.

As the months went on, we began to wonder what happened to the WMD. They told us it was only a matter of time before it would be unearthed from under the sands or discovered in a tunnel under one of Saddam’s palaces. They even suggested it may have been shipped off to a neighboring country for safekeeping!!

Step five was an orchestrated administration campaign to inject us with mass amnesia. Never mind about the weapons, they said. We are here to liberate the poor Iraqi people from their evil dictator and deliver freedom and democracy. Look, look, they said. The Iraqis have purple fingers! With up to one million dead, Iraqis are lucky they have any fingers at all.

To be fair, they couldn’t have done it without the aid of a compliant, supine media, which embedded its reporters with US battalions and agreed not to show captured US soldiers, flag-draped coffins, military funerals or scenes of blood-soaked Iraqi civilians. Independent reporters who neglected to abide by the script were discredited, refused access to information and even shelled.

I still recall a live report from David Chater of Sky News, who saw the barrel of a US tank slowly turn toward the Palestine hotel - known to be a journalist’s hang-out - before firing its shell killing three reporters. The Baghdad offices of Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya were also hit.

With so much information on tap I’m flabbergasted that so many people still believe the Iraq fairytale. I wish they’d get in touch with me. I’ve got a few pyramids and a sphinx going cheap. Sad, isn’t it!

Making Out Like Everything is Normal

A commodities derivatives bubble of some 500 trillion dollars, which is a figure ten times bigger than the combined GDP of all the world’s nations, is about to go pop. Economists are warning of a depression that will make the 1930s look like an unforgettable fun experience for all the family, with an extra bucket of popcorn thrown in for free.

An illegal and disastrous three-trillion-dollar war for Israel,which has killed over one million innocent Iraqis and generously dusted the rest of humanity with tons of windborne uranium oxide residues, is currently costing the US taxpayer 144 billion dollars a year. (Those are government figures, so multiply threefold.)

The tab for the adventure in Afghanistan comes in at a comparably modest 48 billion dollars a year but is expected to grow exponentially in the face of increasingly stiff resistance from a nation of goat herders who took a good long look at democracy in action and decided it was not for them.

Whereas millions of Mexicans continue to pour unhindered across the border to claim their share of food stamps and free medical care, thousands of Americans are leaving their homes each month to live in trailer parks or sleep under bridges while the CEOs of the kosher loan sharks who put them there are dining out on 167-million-dollar bonuses.

The Jewish governor of a large US city is caught spending 2150 dollars a blow in an upscale hotel. The very poorest working European-Americans, derogatively dismissed by the media as “white trash”, are living on an after-tax income of around 15300 dollars a year. That’s seven lap dances and a quick serenade.

The Leader of the Free World shoots the breeze with Jesus and sings songs about his pet dog while his chosen successor, the geriatric and seriously unhinged John McCain, talks to walls and shits in his pants. Both want to nuke Iran, just for the hell of it. And because Israel says so.

Dissidents get to choose between a suspected lesbian who enjoys an intimate psychic relationship with the ghost of Eleanor Roosevelt and a magic Negro who says “hope” is the name of the game and yet dreams of bombing the Republic of Pakistan.

And all this is normal, right?

The British government has just turned the page on 1000 years of history by outsourcing its nation’s sovereignty to a vast army of overpaid bureaucrats in a foreign country while concomitantly proposing that schoolchildren be forced to swear an oath of allegiance to the head of state who betrayed them. Its diplomatic service was recently said to be considering talks with a bearded man known to be dead who once lived in a cave and headed an organization that never existed.

German taxpayers are subsidizing a major mobile phone manufacturer to close its factories, sack thousands of workers and relocate to Romania. The Jewish French President’s new wife, a former high-society prostitute, says that having “a husband who owns nukes” gives her a unique sexual thrill.

Belgian policemen routinely joke about exploding toilets as an epidemic of butane gas addiction takes its toll among children who see no future for themselves in a nation swamped by immigration and stymied by high taxation. Ireland is about to nationalize its failing banks and tell taxi drivers and shop assistants they must dig deep in their pockets
and somehow come up with billions of euros to keep sweet the smiles on the faces of those who own luxury yachts in Cannes and pleasure palaces in Tel Aviv.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along, please.

While a mass murderer called Tony Blair is demanding new taxes to deal with what he describes as “global warming”, a swelling chorus of scientists is now saying that the real problem is global cooling. With nature itself responsible for pumping out 96.5 percent of all carbon dioxide emissions, which are essential to maintaining a high yield of food crops, mankind’s very welcome contribution of 3.5 percent is now in sharp decline thanks to deindustrialization.

South East Asians are rioting for want of a bowl of rice and a few soy beans as prices have more than doubled in less than a year. South Americans protest they can no longer afford to feed their families on the cornmeal that has tripled in price and which has always been a staple of their traditional diet.

In the wake of reports that global wheat inventories are the lowest in recorded history and that the world is only a few months away from mass starvation, a Zionist monkey sitting in a big white house in Washington signs off on legislation that mandates a huge swathe of America’s food crops to be turned into ethanol to offset energy dependence on all the environmentally-friendly nations he has either destroyed or wants to.

According to the New York Times, in order to fill a 100-liter (26-gallon) tank of an SUV, an ethanol producer has to process a quarter of a ton of wheat: “This is enough wheat for a baker to bake about 460 kilograms of bread, which has a total nutritional value of
about a million kilocalories, enough to feed one person for a year.”

Alexander Sharon, a major food retailer, says that US wheat stocks are critically low and that the industry is at a crisis point: “I’m personally concerned that for the first time in history the US may have a serious food shortage if we don’t do something soon.”

Anything out of the ordinary here? Surely not.

After all, Israel comes first, and what’s good for Israel is good for America and the rest of us. So let’s make out like everything is just swimmingly, perfectly normal.

Which it is.

My Message to the Jews

I realize very well that you are not carbon copies of each other. And I also know that there are many Jews around the world who truly despise what Israel has been doing to the Palestinian people in your name. I earnestly commend these conscientious Jews for their morality and human decency. It is these honest people who enable us to retain the hope that counting on Judaic morality is not a lost cause. Nonetheless, there are huge numbers of Jews who have found themselves transformed into soldiers of darkness and advocates of evil. There are Jews who shamelessly advocate the total annihilation of the Palestinian people.Unfortunately, these psychopaths are not isolated or marginal figures.On the contrary, they are highly respected by their hundreds of thousands of followers. It is these misguided and misguiding multitudes of Jews I am addressing in this brief article. And, in truth, my ultimate goal is not to vilify and demonize, but rather to warn and admonish them to wake up from worshiping this modern Golden Calf, otherwise known as the State of Israel.

To begin with, I would like to remind you of a Talmudic story, which I believe is familiar to many of you. The story is told that a heathen came to Shammai with the request to be accepted as a convert on condition that he was taught the whole of the Torah while he stood on one foot. The Rabbi drove him away with the yard-stick which he was holding. He then went to Hillel with the same request; and he said to him: “What is hateful to you yourself, do not do to your fellow-man. That is the whole of the Torah and the remainder is but commentary. Go, learn it.” Yes, yes, what is hateful to yourself, don’t do to your
fellow-man. What beautiful words of light and wisdom! Now are you mentally prepared to accept this universal law, which nearly every Jew on earth would agree encapsulates Judaic (and supposedly Jewish) morality? If you are, then you should thoroughly examine your attitudes toward Israel, a state that has more in common with the ideas of Hitler than it doses with the teachings of Moses. Israel is deceiving you, lying to you and betraying your moral legacy, the legacy bequeathed by the Israelite prophets, and their (our) forefather Ibrahim, who taught mankind “thou shall not murder, thou shall not lie, and thou shall not
steal…..and be just.”

I am sorry to speak in such a harsh tone, but, in truth, Israel and Zionism succeeded through the years in transforming you from a people who believe in justice and value morality into murderers and justifiers of murder, into thieves and justifiers of theft, and into liars who have to change the black into white and the white into black in order to cover up their shame, and then call the lies strange names such as hasbara and public relations and political correctness. In your name, Israel, knowingly and deliberately, is slaughtering innocent people, including children. This is not done by mistake as Israeli leaders and spokespeople would falsely claim. When “mistakes ” happen every day and every hour and every minute, they are no longer mistakes. They are policy.

Besides the images are too graphic to be ignored and too obscenely brazen to be dismissed as “Arab propaganda.” They transcend reality. In your name, Israel has been carrying out ethnic cleansing, in its ugliest forms, all under the pretext of “maintaining Israel’s Jewish identity!!” You see the pornographic oppression, coming from a people who claim to adhere to the Ten Commandments. In your name, Israel in the summer of 2006 dropped millions of cluster bombs or bomblets all over South Lebanon. Is this the light upon the nations that you claim
to be? Shame on you! It is because of your crimes against man and God that we, the Palestinians, have effectively become “the Jews of our time,” while you have effectively become the “anti-Semites of our time.” You, the Jews, the victims of the holocaust, and the numerous pogroms and inquisitions, have turned out to be like all underdogs, when you get on the top, you become as murderous and as brutal to your victims as your former oppressors were to you when you were underneath.

The Nazis looked down on Jews and others as untermensch, and you are looking down on us as “Arabs”!! The Nazis sought expansion at their neighbors’ expense and called it “lebensraum.” And you are doing the same, under the pretext of building “housing units for Jews.” The Nazis carried out “pacifications” in which innocent people were mercilessly killed; and you carry out “defensive operations” during which you wreak death and havoc on innocent people. At least the Nazis didn’t lie about their criminality as much as you do about yours. You are not only evil murderers and great child killers. You are also nefarious liars.

The Nazis believed in an Aryan “master race” and you, Zionists, are trying to make a “race” out of Jews. Your methods are similar and your goals are nearly identical. You can’t deny this; we are not naïve North Americans or Europeans whom you think you can bamboozle very easily. We have been through it all, from creation to destruction. I am saying this because in the final analysis when people, any people, including Jews, behave and act as the Nazis did, they themselves become Nazis. Evil, whether done by a “master race” or a “chosen people” is evil. Evil can’t be kosher. True, there are no gas chambers in Gaza and
Hebron. But you are killing us with F-16 fighters and tanks and artillery and apache helicopters. So, the outcome is the same. Besides, the writing is literally on the wall. Come to Hebron and see for yourselves. Too harsh? No, it is not, because if what is happening today in Palestine at the hands of holocaust children and grand children and great grandchildren is having no effects on your
individual and collective conscience, it is immensely naïve to think that you will experience a moral awakening when the pharaohs of Israel, people like Matan Vilnai, choose to carry out their threatened “greater holocaust” against our people. Many of you may be forgiven for being ignorant of Israel’s reality of evil. But you are not a people of ignorance. Which means you are doing and supporting evil knowingly and consciously. If so, you are no better than your past tormentors. Don’t be so excited about America’s unlimited and unrestricted support and backing. America is not helping you to uphold your moral principles,
America is “helping” you to destroy these principles, which you are doing anyway. Needles to say, when an evil power “helps” you corrode your moral system, this should not be a cause for joy and satisfaction. I am sure that wise men and women amongst you understand the meaning of my words. Finally, I call on you to wake up from this toxic arrogance of power, this collective megalomania and false sense of triumph. You are actually experiencing a collective psychosis, a virtual moral meltdown. Hence, you are really in a big trouble.

And, now, a few words to Jews in Israel-Palestine. Soon you will be celebrating Israel’s 60th anniversary, which is for us is a profoundly inauspicious occasion commemorating evil and genocide. Because you destroyed our homes, obliterated our towns and villages, perpetrated untold massacres, and expelled the bulk of our people, at gun point, to the four corners of the globe. And you had the audacity to call all of this evil “war of independence” and to claim that “they just fled away…”!!! Notwithstanding , you are still as blind as you are brutal despite the passage of 60 years. If you had invested a fraction of the means at your disposal; if you had used your energies and industriousness and creativity for peace with your neighbors, peace would have been realized a long time ago. But you were not interested in peace then as you are not interested in peace now. Instead you were busy then and as you are busy now stealing our land and building thereon Jewish-only settlements inhabited by fanatical settlers who are
taught that the only way to expedite the appearance of the “redeemer” is by shedding non-Jewish blood and doing evil. Well, since when murder and evil can produce good? Nonetheless, it is perhaps not too late to try to rectify your evil ways and morbid thinking. Try to reach out to the Palestinians and Arabs and Muslims. Remember, this is a predominantly Muslim region, and in a few decades, there will be 700 or 800 million Muslims in your vicinity. Think about your future generations. Maybe, just maybe, America’s military and economic power will have gone with the wind by then. Moreover, try to show respect to
Islam, because without respecting Islam, you don’t really respect Judaism. This is instead of vilifying the religion that describes the Torah as “a book of light.” And stop this dishonorable alliance with those pseudo-Christian maniacs who advocate and actively push for a worldwide Armageddon in which hundreds of millions of people, including 99% of Jews, would perish, all in order to induce the second advent of Jesus.

But above all, stop killing and tormenting the helpless Palestinians for you had been helpless yourselves. Stop killing their children. Stop destroying their homes. Stop confiscating their land. Stop imprisoning their sons unjustly. Stop narrowing their horizons. Stop your mass murder, mass terror and mass oppression. Stop making a hell out of our daily life. Yes, stop it, if not for justice and human decency, then for your own safety. Oppression boomerangs as we saw recently in
Jerusalem. And don’t get emboldened by American officials who tell you …Kill, kill, kill and we will stand by you! Because America and its immoral politicians are thousands of miles away…but we are destined to be neighbors, or even citizens of the same state. And remember, it is not an act of heroism to murder unprotected innocent civilians, using the state-of-the-art of America’s technology of death. History won’t be kind to you. What heroism is there in having an F-16 fighter rain death on sleeping children and women at a refugee camp? Shame on you.
